This page explains what information martinwongphoto.com collects, why, and who it is shared with.

Who we are

This site is run by Martin Wong (Martin Wong Photo), a photographer in Los Angeles, California. If you have any question about your information, email MW@MartinWongPhoto.com.

Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email, phone number (if you add it) and your message. It is stored on Martin's own server and emailed to MW@MartinWongPhoto.com so he can reply. It is only used to answer you and is not sold or shared for marketing.

Newsletter and free downloads

When you sign up for the free monthly preset, the free starter guide or another free download, we save your email address so we can send you the download link and occasional emails such as new presets and editing tips. Your email may be kept in a mailing list service that sends these emails for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Accounts and downloads

If you create an account, we store your email address and the purchases linked to it so you can sign in and download what you bought.

Payments (Stripe)

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you check out, you enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout, not on this site, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe sends us your name, email, the items you bought and, for physical items, your shipping address. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Printing and shipping (Printful)

Merch such as stickers, shirts and coasters is printed and shipped by Printful. For those orders we share your name, shipping address, email and the items ordered with Printful so they can make and deliver your order. See Printful's privacy policy.

Analytics (Google Analytics and Cloudflare)

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived. It is not loaded if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, and it is not used on account, download or checkout pages. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Cookies

Besides the Google Analytics cookies above, the site uses a small number of cookies or browser storage only to make things work, such as keeping you signed in or remembering your cart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, but you may need to sign in again.

YouTube videos

Videos are shown with a click-to-play preview. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. After that, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you at any time by emailing MW@MartinWongPhoto.com.
